Each student stays with a warm Irish host family, enjoying daily life in Ireland while improving their English naturally.

Living with Warm, Welcoming Irish Families

Living with an Irish host family is at the heart of the Summer Programme. Students become part of family life, practising English naturally while immersing themselves in everyday Irish culture.

Our host families are police-vetted, personally visited and selected for their warmth and care.

Students share family routines and typically share a bedroom with a student from another nationality – encouraging English as their shared language and helping them build friendships from day one.

Through this shared experience, students continue learning after school and create memories that last a lifetime.

Athlone

Athlone, a bustling town located in the heart of Ireland, is the ideal base for a summer of learning and adventure.

Its central location provides easy access to major cities like Dublin, Galway, Limerick, and Kilkenny, while the town itself blends rich history with modern cafés, shops, and entertainment.

Cultural Activities and Adventures in the Heart of Ireland

Students enjoy a lively mix of sports, creative workshops, and cultural experiences - from Waterparks and football to Irish dancing and ceilis in the Teach Ceoil in Dun na Si.

Weekly excursions range from half-day visits to local attractions to full-day weekend trips exploring Ireland’s most famous cultural and historical sites.
